The state of Photovoltaic solar panels

Every now and then people try to think if it's worth investing in a solar powered energy system. There is not better time to do this. The prices of photovoltaic panels dropped to a minimum. I don't think they will get lower than this.

However, installing a home solar panel is not that easy. My best recommentation is to pay an electrician to do it. He will help you to find the best prices for photovoltaic panels, will figure out your needs and will tell you what you need to do to keep it in good standards.

If you are reading this, means that a photovoltaic system is fit for you. To know this you must know if you want to have a system that will generate the whole power you need, or you just want it as an alternative way of producing energy so you can generate some money.

If you are in the first case, you will have to invest much more, because you need so many solar panels to produce energy even on winter when the sun don't appear so often. What you must know is that the photovoltaic cells are producing energy from light that comes from the sun, so even on winter there is enough light so they run at least at 40 of full capacity. You also need a high storage system so you will have an energy deposit for bad times.

If you just want to produce it right away and connect it to the network, then you must go with the amount of panels that will generate the most revenue, depending on how much money you want to invest.

The costs of photovoltaic panels with installing, invertors and everything you need is around 1,50$ for a watt. That means if you invest 15,000$ into this, you will produce 10,000 watts when the sun is at his peak. Considering that there is nigh too, it will produce about 5000 watts on average an hour, which means 120,000 watts during a day during summer. This is the amount that you consume in about a week. A kilowatt costs about 0.12$, that means that on summer you will produce electricity worth 432$ each month. The number can go down to about 300$ if you consider losses and low turnout for the winter months. So, you will make 3600 every year, that will empower you to get your money back in about 4-5 years. Most companies that offer installing services gives you a guarantee of 25 years for the products they install.

Temperature charts

I made a little research in past days and i figured out that many people are searching for "temperature chart" or "temperature conversion chart" instead of looking for "temperature converter", or "temperature calculator". This is because getting used with real things. I never seen a real temperature converter, i've seen real mortgage calculators, i'm not sure how they work but everything can be done, but they are useless. In real life people got used with charts, temperature charts. But here we are on the internet where we are a click away from everything, from huge charts, ann tiny and easy to use calculators.

Why to wait 20 seconds for a temperature conversion page to load, and then waste few minutes to search manually trough everything.

You can use a temperature convertor and simply type the value you want in.

Temperature scales insight

Why there is not any unique temperature scale ? Which is the International System temperature measurement ? How we can compare temperatures ?

The temperature measurement based on International System is Kelvin. I bet you are very surprised if you don't have a clue about chemistry or physics. Why Kelvin ? Fahrenheit is used in US, we know that in other places they use Celsius, but why Kelvin ? We need standards, it will be much better if we would have got only one temperature scale but we have a lot of them. Why different temperature scales was invented ?
They were invented because in some areas the maths are done easier using one scale or another. For example, the celsius scale is very simple, water freezes at 0 degrees celsius and water boils at 100 degrees celsius, very simple, 2 landmarks for temperature.
How can we work this out ? It is simple, using an online temperature converter: fahrenheit celsius , which can convert celsius, fahrenheit, kelvin and rankin. Very cool, but what happens if i'm not at my computer and want to figure out the temperature in fahrenheit when we have the value in celsius.
That is very simple, the formula is Fahrenheit = Celsius * 9 / 5 + 32 .
